    Alex "Switch", Founder, CEO

I’m a former U.S. Air Force officer with extensive overseas experience and a background in military aviation as a Weapons/Nav Officer. During a tour at Aviano Air Base, Italy, I worked alongside the “Triple Nickel” F-16 squadron—an experience that set my standards for discipline and performance and ultimately inspired our company name.

Over the course of my service, I worked with the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Air Ambassadors, Air Marshals, U.S. Senators, and other VIPs—operating in high-visibility, high-pressure environments where precision, professionalism, and discretion are expected.

I fell in love with civilian aviation and transitioned my focus to training the next generation of pilots. Today, I fly as a commercial single-engine, instrument-rated pilot and serve as an Advanced and Instrument Ground Instructor, bringing a mission-ready mindset to every lesson.

My leadership philosophy is simple: people first, then the mission. I back my team fully and hold us to clear, professional standards so every client gets the best pilot training experience possible—efficient, safety-focused, and grounded in real-world decision-making.

Frank "Loki", Co-Founder, Chief Marketing Director & Maintenance Liason

Hi—I’m Frank. I’m a former U.S. Naval Officer turned commercial pilot (single- and multi-engine, instrument) and an Advanced & Instrument Ground Instructor (AGI/IGI). I met Alex early in his training—we clicked, built time together, and have since logged plenty of memorable cross-country adventures.

At Triple Nickel Aviation, my style is calm, clear, and practical—whether we’re locking down fundamentals or sharpening IFR skills. I focus on real-world decision-making, checkride-ready knowledge, and making training efficient without cutting corners.

Off the ramp, I’m a Realtor and an unapologetic dog lover. Most of all, I enjoy mentoring pilots and being part of a team that helps people grow—with structure, accountability, and a little humor along the way.

Thomas "Bingo", Co-Founder, Chief Pilot & Director of Flight Standards

Hi—I’m Thomas. I immigrated from Hungary in the early 2000s and became a first-generation pilot in the U.S. Aviation runs in the family: my father flew MiG-21s for the Hungarian Air Force, and after his service he took me up in a Cessna 172 here in the States—that’s what lit the spark.

I’m an Instrument Rated Commercial Pilot—Multi-Engine Land (AMEL) and Single-Engine Land (ASEL). I started later than most because of the cost, but in 2022 I finally had the means to train. I worked full-time and flew after hours, keeping steady progress. Most evenings you’ll still find me building time and sharpening skills—often flying with Alex in my airplane. At Triple Nickel Aviation, I bring persistence, humility, and a people-first mindset to every flight. I’m excited to help mold the next generation of aviators—making training efficient, safe, and genuinely enjoyable.
